STOP - The Latin Connection (1989)

 

The Latin Connection es un album publicado en 1989 por el grupo STOP, el mismo es formado por Danny Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Bijan de origen árabe.

 

El grupo se caracteriza por ejecutar diestramente el genero Hi-NRG poniendo exitos como Wake Up, Rendezvous y Latin Medley en sitios reconocidos en éste genero.

Con los arreglos del DJ Pebo Rodriguez logran colocar a "Wake Up" (1985) como uno de los más grandes éxitos de discoteca de la época ayudando a fundar el movimiento perteneciente al High Energy (Hi-NRG) conocido específicamente como "Latin Energy". A "Wake Up" siguieron éxitos de Stop como "Come & Dance Ahora!", "Rendez Vous" y "Move Your Body". Tal fué el éxito de "Wake Up" que existe un remake únicamente con Bijan que se llama "Wake Up´88". El slogan del maxi-single era: "Danny, Martin & Bijan...May The World Wake Up".
